Intake and Sluice Gate Services
U.S. Underwater Services has a considerable amount of knowledge and experience performing inspection, repair, and maintenance of intake and sluice gate structures for municipalities, river authorities, power plants and other varied industrial facilities.
USUS works with each client to provide the safest, most efficient, and cost-effective solutions available. When needed, a thorough site evaluation is performed, and a detailed project plan is provided prior to mobilizing to the project site. In doing so, potential hazards are identified in advance, which allows our team of divers to arrive with the proper equipment to perform our client's project in a safe manner.
Upon completion of each project, we provide the client with a written report, narrated DVD and a list of recommended repairs based on state environmental standards.
Our specialized service includes the following:
U.S. Underwater Services was contracted by Zachry Industrial to inspect for debris at the front of the retaining wall and gates of the spillway at the Sandow Mine facility in Rockdale, Texas.
U.S. Underwater Services was contracted by AEP Southwestern Power Station in Washita, Oklahoma to conduct inspections of two reservoir intake structures.
